Teacher Appreciation Week May 4-8

Hello Parents,

We are in the home stretch to graduation! :) Remember, graduation gift/party donations are due this Friday, May 1.

Spicewood's SUPER HERO Teacher Appreciation Week is next week, May 4 - 8. Here is the day-by-day schedule of school-wide themed events from the Spicewood PTA (see notes for class-specific activities for each day):

Mon 5/4: Wear a Super Hero t-shirt

• We need some creative types to decorate Mrs. Moser's classroom door! Being outside, you have access to the door over the weekend, and it would be a fun surprise for Monday morning before Mustang Express. If you are interested, get some friends together and let me know (we can't reimburse for supplies). 
• Bring in your Super Hero coloring sheet (these will be going home in Friday folders as well) describing Mrs. Moser's super powers! Don't forget the specials teachers, librarian and support staff too.

Tue 5/5: Show your Super-Duper funky hair, donate supplies

Mrs. Moser could use these supplies in the classroom:

• White-out tape
• Electric water kettle
• Scissors
• College ruled paper
• Post-its
• Rulers (these keep snapping)
• Scissors (we have very few left!)

Wed 5/6: Student Twin day (dress like a friend), snacks provided by Spicewood PTA

• Exhibition 8:30-10am, early release day

Thu 5/7: Show team spirit, wear favorite team attire 

• We will arrange breakfast and lunch for Mrs. Moser. Let me know if you can pick up and deliver lunch from Torchy's (prepaid online order).

Fri 5/8: Wear your favorite Spicewood t-shirt, donate gently used books

Final note about the RRISD gift policy: We will not collect money from the class for gifts (for teacher appreciation week or end-of-year gifts). $50 is the limit on personal (or group) gifts, including gift cards, and must be infrequent (twice a year).
