Hello parents,
The 5th grade winter party will be held on Thursday 12/18, from ~ 1:20 - 2:45 PM. This party is traditionally the big kick off to the "Hacker Trail" pioneer unit starting soon.
Each class will be responsible for one pioneer activity station. Mrs. Moser's class will run the butter churning station, where each student mixes cream and salt in a little bottle, and shakes it until butter appears. I believe the plan is for the kids to spread this butter on cornbread for a tasty pioneer snack.
We need volunteers to purchase/collect supplies (you will be reimbursed by PTA), deliver the supplies to school on party day, and to run our activity station. Please sign up here if you can help!
Also, don't forget we are collecting gift cards (or cash) for Mrs. Moser's Gift Card Tree this week! Please send all donations in an envelope marked "Traci Reece" by this Friday, 12/12.
